How to organize folders so you never lose a file again

The quick answer: To organize your Canva in a professional way, use the structure of Folders by Type of Asset. In the side menu, go to Projects > Add New > Folder. The secret to ultra-fast agility is knowing exactly where each element of your visual authority is stored, eliminating the time wasted searching for loose files.

Canva organizes folders in alphabetical order. To maintain total control and not let the system decide the order for you, put numbers at the beginning of the names (01, 02, 03). This way, whatever is most important to your day-to-day life will always be at the top of the list.

There are projects that you edit almost every day, such as your “Link in Bio” or “Good morning” artwork. For these items, use the Star. When you hover over the design and select the star, it instantly appears in the left-hand side menu.
